FAIR HAIR CLINIC

Cookie Policy

Last updated: 15 May 2026

This Cookie Policy explains how Fair Hair Clinic uses cookies and similar technologies on fairhairclinic.com, why they may be used, and how you can control optional technologies.

This Policy should be read together with our Privacy Policy.

1. What does this policy cover?

This Policy covers cookies and other technologies that store information on, or access information from, your device when you use the Fair Hair Clinic website.

Depending on the technology used, this can include browser cookies, local storage, pixels, tags, scripts and similar tools.

The exact technologies used by Fair can change over time. The cookie list on this page reflects the live website and is updated when technologies change.

2. What is a cookie?

A cookie is a small data file that a website or service can store on your browser or device. Cookies can help a website function, remember choices, measure use or support advertising.

Not every tracking or storage technology is technically a cookie. For simplicity, this Policy may use the word “cookies” to include comparable storage and access technologies where the same privacy choices apply.

3. Cookie categories

Strictly necessary

Technologies required for the website, security, consent management or a service you explicitly request. These may operate without optional-cookie consent where the applicable legal requirements are met.

Functional / preference

Technologies that remember optional preferences or provide enhanced functions.

Analytics / performance

Technologies used to understand website traffic, page use or performance. Where consent is legally required, these remain off until you opt in.

Advertising / marketing

Technologies used for advertising, retargeting, campaign measurement, audience building or cross-site behavioural tracking. These must not run before the required consent is obtained.

4. Strictly necessary technologies

Strictly necessary technologies may be used to:

  • deliver core website functions
  • maintain security and prevent abuse
  • route traffic or maintain technical stability
  • remember your cookie-consent choice
  • support a function you explicitly request where that function cannot reasonably work without the technology

Fair keeps this category narrow. A tool is not necessary merely because it is useful to marketing, analytics or business reporting.

5. Functional / preference technologies

Functional technologies may remember choices such as interface preferences or support optional features. Where consent is required, optional functionality stays off until you allow it.

6. Analytics / performance technologies

Analytics technologies help Fair understand how the website is used, which pages perform well, whether errors occur and how visitors move through the site.

Fair uses Google Analytics, loaded through Google Tag Manager. Where applicable law requires consent, analytics cookies are not set until you make an affirmative choice in the cookie banner.

Rejecting analytics does not prevent you from reading the Fair website, contacting the clinic or requesting a hair analysis.

7. Advertising / marketing technologies

Advertising technologies can be used for activities such as ad attribution, remarketing, audience measurement or personalised advertising. They must not run before the required consent is obtained.

Fair never uses advertising tags to transmit the contents of medical forms, health answers, medications, diagnoses, patient photographs or other sensitive information.

8. Third-party technologies

Some technologies are provided by third-party services. Those providers may receive technical identifiers or usage information when their technologies are active.

On the website these currently include Google Analytics / Google Tag Manager (Google) and the Google Maps map on our location page. When the map loads, Google may set or read its own cookies under Google’s privacy policy.

WhatsApp buttons on the website are simple links. WhatsApp / Meta processes your data under its own terms only when you choose to open a chat.

9. Your cookie choices

Where optional consent is required, Fair gives you a genuine choice. You can:

  • accept optional cookies
  • reject optional cookies
  • choose categories individually
  • change your preferences later

Simply continuing to browse the website is not treated as consent to optional cookies.

10. Changing or withdrawing your choice

You can change your optional-cookie choices at any time using the “Manage cookie preferences” control on this page or in the cookie banner.

Withdrawing consent is as easy as giving it. A change prevents future optional tracking that depends on the withdrawn consent. Some previously stored third-party data may remain subject to the relevant provider’s retention rules and applicable law.

12. Health data: a hard tracking boundary

Fair is a hair-transplant website and visitors may reveal health-related information through forms, assessment photos and the pages they choose to visit.

Cookie consent does not give Fair permission to send sensitive medical information to analytics or advertising providers. Fair does not send the following to analytics or advertising tools:

  • medical conditions
  • medication names
  • treatment-suitability answers
  • photo contents or photo filenames
  • patient names, email addresses, phone numbers or WhatsApp numbers
  • passport / ID information
  • free-text medical form content
  • diagnoses, laboratory values or clinical notes

Consent to cookies is not consent to share health data.

13. Browser controls

Most browsers allow you to delete or block cookies. Blocking all cookies may affect strictly necessary website functions.

Browser-level controls are separate from Fair’s own consent banner.

14. Changes to this Cookie Policy

Fair may update this Cookie Policy when its website technologies, providers or legal obligations change. The latest version always shows a clear “Last updated” date.
