FAIR HAIR CLINIC · ISTANBUL
Hair transplantation gets complicated quickly when every clinic gives a different answer.
So we made this simple: short answers first. More detail only when you need it.
If the answer is individual, we say so.
01
Fair does not sell technique packages. For suitable scalp patients, our standard combines FUE donor harvesting, Sapphire recipient-channel work and DHI placement according to one treatment plan. Senior expert involvement, PRP, Graft-Tech support, aftercare and the core treatment standard are not paid upgrades.
No. Fair is the clinic and patient relationship. Hair-transplant procedures take place in a private-hospital medical setting with the medical infrastructure required for the treatment.
Fair works with a maximum of two patients per day. The goal is controlled planning and experienced involvement rather than high-volume turnover.
The senior hair-transplant expert is involved in consultation, hairline and recipient planning, treatment strategy and the Sapphire recipient-channel opening. The permanent technical team performs donor harvesting, graft handling and planned implantation work.
No. Fair's treatment model is built around a permanent in-house technical team rather than a different temporary team every day.
Yes, Fair is a new brand. The professionals behind the treatment are not new to hair transplantation. We prefer to be transparent about that rather than invent years of clinic history.
02
Suitability depends on your donor area, pattern of hair loss, existing hair, age, future-loss risk, medical history and what you are trying to achieve. Photos can give us a useful first view, but final suitability is confirmed in person.
For a proper first review, send clear photos of the front/hairline, top, left side, right side and back/donor area. Good lighting matters more than professional photography.
We can often give a preliminary range. The final number can change after in-person donor examination, hairline planning and medical review.
Yes. Sometimes the fair answer is not yet, not in the requested area, or not at all. A transplant should fit the donor and long-term plan, not just the request.
No. Start with the Free Hair Analysis. The online assessment is preliminary; the final plan is confirmed when you are examined in person.
03
For suitable scalp patients, Fair uses a Combined Sapphire FUE + DHI approach as the standard. That means FUE donor harvesting, Sapphire recipient-site/channel work and fine DHI implantation can be used within one coordinated plan.
Yes. FUE refers to harvesting follicular units individually from the donor area. Sapphire and DHI describe different parts of recipient planning and implantation, not donor extraction.
Sapphire refers to the fine blades used for planned recipient-channel creation. The important part is still how the channels are designed: distribution, angle, direction and density.
DHI commonly refers to implantation with implanter tools. At Fair it is not sold as a premium upgrade; it is used where it helps the plan.
That comparison is too simplistic. At Fair the question is how the tools should work together for your case, not which acronym should cost more.
No. Technique names do not guarantee quality. Planning, donor management, angles, graft handling, team experience and patient biology matter more than a label.
04
A graft is a naturally occurring follicular unit removed from the donor area. One graft can contain one, two, three or sometimes more hairs. A graft is therefore not the same thing as one hair.
No. Fair's scalp-treatment price is not calculated per graft. The safe treatment plan decides the number; the number does not decide the price.
No. The donor area is finite. Fair aims for the graft number that is safe and genuinely useful, not the maximum amount that can physically be extracted.
There is no responsible universal number. It depends on donor density, hair calibre, follicular distribution, scalp characteristics, previous surgery and how much donor reserve should remain.
The follicles that are completely extracted do not regenerate at those exact extraction points. That is why donor planning matters.
No. FUE creates many tiny extraction sites rather than a linear strip scar. Healing can be very subtle, but 'scarless' is not an honest universal claim.
Yes. Taking too much or taking it badly can create visible thinning or an uneven donor appearance. More grafts are not automatically better.
05
The part patients usually find uncomfortable is the local-anesthetic injection stage. Once the scalp is properly numb, the extraction and implantation phases are generally performed under local anaesthesia without the same pain from the procedure itself.
The standard treatment uses local anaesthesia, with the Fair comfort pathway to make the start easier. You remain awake while the scalp is numbed.
Deep Sleep is Fair's optional short IV-anesthesia option. You sleep for around 15 minutes while the local anaesthesia is administered, then wake up with the scalp already numb and continue the transplant awake.
Around 15 minutes. The exact timing can vary slightly according to the anesthesia plan and patient.
No. The Deep Sleep phase is used at the beginning while the local anaesthesia is given. You then wake up and the transplant continues while the scalp remains numb.
A separate anesthesia team is added specifically for Deep Sleep: one anesthesia doctor and two anesthesia technicians. They manage the anesthesia and monitoring while the hair-transplant team focuses on the transplant.
It is an optional +€350 medical add-on, subject to anesthesia assessment.
No. It changes the treatment experience, not the graft biology. The result still depends on the donor, planning, execution and individual healing/growth.
06
The founding rate is €2,150 for patients who qualify for the scalp treatment standard.
No. The scalp price is per treatment, not per graft.
The Fair scalp standard includes the planned Combined Sapphire FUE + DHI treatment, senior expert involvement, PRP, Graft-Tech regenerative support, local-anesthesia comfort pathway, two hotel nights, private airport transfers and structured aftercare/follow-up.
No. International flights are not included.
No. For Fair's suitable scalp-treatment standard, PRP and Graft-Tech support are included rather than sold as technique/package upgrades.
No. Deep Sleep Anesthesia is optional and costs +€350 because it adds a separate anesthesia doctor and two anesthesia technicians.
Yes. Beard and eyebrow transplants have the same €2,150 founding rate as Fair's scalp-treatment standard.

Fair's standard international journey is 3 days / 2 nights.
You arrive in Istanbul, receive the arranged airport transfer and check in at the partner hotel.
You have the in-person consultation, medical review, final planning and hairline design, followed by the procedure.
Fair performs the first wash/control and gives the next aftercare instructions. Return flights should generally be planned after 1 PM.
Fair supports arrivals through both Istanbul Airport (IST) and Sabiha Gökçen International Airport (SAW).
Yes. The standard international scalp journey includes two nights in a 4- or 5-star partner hotel, subject to availability.
Yes. Private airport transfers, on arrival and for your return, are included in the standard international scalp journey.
No. Partner hotels can change based on availability.
08
Scab/crust removal usually happens during the early postoperative period, but Fair gives the exact timing and washing method in your current patient-specific aftercare instructions.
Some temporary swelling can occur during the first days after treatment. The degree varies from patient to patient.
Often, yes. Shedding of transplanted shafts during the first weeks can be part of the normal cycle and is not automatically the same as losing the graft.
Shock loss is temporary shedding that can affect transplanted or existing hairs after surgery. It can occur in the donor or recipient area and does not automatically mean permanent damage.
These timelines depend on the stage of healing and the activity. Fair's current aftercare instructions for your treatment should always override a generic FAQ answer.
That varies. Many patients look progressively cleaner over the first days and weeks, while redness, dryness, altered sensation or temporary shock loss can last longer in some patients.
Yes. Fair provides structured follow-up for 12 months and remains available afterwards if you need help.
09
Early new growth often becomes noticeable after the first few months. Growth is gradual rather than sudden.
No. Month 6 can show meaningful progress, but it is not the final result. Hair can continue thickening and maturing over the following months.
Around 12 months is an important assessment point for many scalp cases, while maturation can continue toward 12-18 months, especially in slower areas.
No. Density depends on donor supply, recipient area, hair characteristics, graft growth, native hair and biology. Fair plans density; it cannot guarantee biology.
No clinic can responsibly guarantee that every transplanted follicle will grow. Before/after results should be used as examples, not promises.
Graft count is only one variable. Hair calibre, curl, colour contrast, donor quality, area size, graft composition, design and native hair all change the visual result.
10
Yes. Female cases require careful diagnosis and donor assessment because not every pattern of female hair loss is suitable for transplantation.
Selected patients with a stable, naturally high hairline can be suitable. The design must remain proportionate to the face and donor reserve.
Yes. Beard transplantation requires face-specific design, very careful direction and donor matching rather than simply copying a scalp protocol.
Yes. Eyebrows require millimetre-level direction, low exit angles and careful graft selection.
Often yes. Scalp donor hair keeps many of its original growth characteristics, so transplanted brow hair may need regular trimming.
11
Possibly, but suitability depends on the condition, stability, medication and the medical team's assessment. Always disclose your full medical history before booking.
Do not stop prescribed medication based on a website answer. Tell Fair what you take, and follow the instructions of the appropriate prescribing clinician and treating medical team.
No. Testing requirements can depend on the patient, medical history, treatment plan and anesthesia pathway.
Possibly, but the anesthesia doctor must assess suitability. Disclose all conditions, medications, allergies and previous anesthesia problems.
Photos can help with a preliminary assessment, but they do not replace examination or specialist medical evaluation when the cause of hair loss is unclear.
Sudden shedding, patchy loss, active scalp inflammation, suspected scarring alopecia or other unexplained changes may need medical evaluation before transplantation is considered.

Start with a Free Hair Analysis or message Fair directly. We first need to understand the donor, hair-loss pattern and what you want to change.
You can ask about availability, but treatment planning and final acceptance should follow an appropriate assessment.
No. Final medical suitability always comes first. The treatment team can modify, postpone or decline a procedure if examination or medical findings make the planned treatment inappropriate.
Use the current written reservation terms provided before payment. The confirmed Terms & Conditions and patient-specific booking documents control.
Date-change rules depend on the current reservation terms and availability. Confirm the written policy before payment.
Fair's structured follow-up runs for 12 months. If you need help after that period, the team does not suddenly disappear.
Use your existing Fair conversation where possible. Keeping follow-up in one thread makes it easier to review previous photos and instructions.
Some questions have a simple answer. Others depend on your donor, medical history or photos.
