SAPPHIRE FUE · FAIR HAIR CLINIC

Sapphire FUE hair transplant.
The name is only the start.

Sapphire FUE is often marketed as if the word “Sapphire” alone guarantees a premium result. It does not.

At Fair, Sapphire is one part of a complete treatment plan: FUE extraction from the donor area, recipient-channel planning and opening with Sapphire instruments, and fine DHI implantation within our Combined Sapphire FUE + DHI standard for suitable scalp-hair patients.

The tool matters. The plan, hands and detail behind it matter more.

START WITH THE TERMS

Sapphire does not extract the grafts.

FUE describes the extraction stage: individual follicular units are removed from the donor area.

Sapphire refers to the recipient-channel stage: Sapphire-blade instruments can be used to create the planned recipient sites where grafts will be placed.

At Fair, these stages are then connected within one coordinated treatment strategy that also uses fine DHI implantation for suitable scalp-hair cases.

“WE USE SAPPHIRE!”

The blade is a tool. Not the treatment plan.

A Sapphire instrument does not decide your hairline, donor strategy, direction, graft distribution or long-term plan. Those decisions come from the people planning and performing the treatment.

A clinic can use a Sapphire blade and still create a poor hairline. Another clinic can use the same category of instrument and produce careful, natural work. The marketing label is not enough to judge quality.

Fair therefore focuses on the complete system around the technique:

  • in-person consultation and case planning
  • hairline and recipient design
  • safe donor planning
  • appropriate channel direction and angle
  • distribution according to recipient need
  • fine, individually selected instruments
  • experienced senior expert involvement
  • permanent technical and medical team structure
  • DHI implantation as part of the combined standard for suitable scalp cases

Same word. Very different work.

WHERE DESIGN BECOMES PHYSICAL

Angles. Direction. Distribution.

Hairline design exists on paper until the recipient sites are actually created. Channel opening is one of the stages where the planned direction, angle and distribution become physical.

At Fair, the senior hair-transplant expert performs the Sapphire channel opening after consultation, planning and hairline design.

This is important because the same number of grafts can look very different depending on where they are placed and how the recipient sites are oriented.

  • Hairline direction should follow a natural visual flow.
  • Transition zones require finer planning than simply filling an empty area.
  • Different regions of the scalp can require different directional planning.
  • Density planning must respect available graft supply and existing native hair.
  • Channel design should fit the overall long-term treatment plan, not only the first centimetre of the hairline.

DETAIL OVER LABELS

Not every Sapphire tool should be treated as “the same”.

Fair uses fine treatment instruments selected around the characteristics of the case rather than presenting one instrument size as a universal solution.

Instrument choice can depend on factors such as graft characteristics, recipient plan, hair calibre, treatment zone and the type of work being performed.

Fine tools. Personalised selection. No one-size-fits-all claim.

“CHOOSE FUE OR DHI”

Why should a suitable patient have to choose based on price?

Fair uses Combined Sapphire FUE + DHI as the standard scalp-hair approach for suitable patients rather than turning techniques into competing package tiers.

In Fair’s combined approach:

  • FUE is used for graft extraction from the donor area.
  • The senior expert plans the recipient strategy and performs Sapphire channel opening.
  • Fine DHI implantation is used within the coordinated recipient plan.
  • The exact distribution and execution remain case-specific.

The purpose is not to stack technique names for marketing. It is to use the treatment workflow Fair considers appropriate for the patient without charging extra for a “DHI upgrade.”

DO NOT FORGET WHERE THE GRAFTS COME FROM

Sapphire is a recipient-site tool.
Donor quality still starts with FUE planning.

Because “Sapphire FUE” is often used as one combined marketing term, patients can easily assume Sapphire has something to do with extraction. It does not.

The donor stage still requires careful FUE extraction planning, appropriate instrument selection, balanced harvesting and a safe graft strategy.

Fair does not measure treatment quality by how aggressively the donor can be emptied in one day.

Maximum safe grafts. Not maximum possible extraction.

THE FAIR ANSWER

The honest answer is not a marketing slogan.

Sapphire instruments are a tool used in recipient-site creation. They can be useful within a carefully planned workflow, but the word “Sapphire” does not by itself prove that a hair transplant is better, denser, safer or more natural.

Outcome depends on multiple factors, including:

  • patient suitability and donor quality
  • hairline and recipient design
  • safe graft planning
  • channel angle, direction and distribution
  • extraction and graft handling
  • implantation technique
  • the experience and consistency of the team
  • healing and individual biological factors

We use Sapphire. We don’t use the word as a substitute for quality.

“SAPPHIRE PACKAGE”“DHI PACKAGE”

One Fair standard.

For suitable scalp-hair patients, Sapphire channel opening and DHI implantation belong inside Fair’s Combined Sapphire FUE + DHI standard. They are not separate quality tiers.

The patient is not asked to choose a cheaper technique because of budget or pay more simply to unlock DHI.

Founding rate:

€2,150

The Fair founding rate includes the treatment standard described across the website, including Combined Sapphire FUE + DHI for suitable scalp cases, Graft-Tech stem cell treatment, PRP, safe graft planning, hotel, transfers and structured follow-up. Flights are excluded. Deep Sleep Anesthesia is the only optional paid medical add-on at +€350, subject to medical suitability.

NO TECHNIQUE SHOULD OVERRIDE THE PATIENT

The standard is consistent. The plan is personal.

Fair’s standard approach does not mean every scalp is treated identically.

The treatment plan still depends on:

  • hair-loss pattern
  • donor strength
  • hair characteristics
  • recipient priorities
  • existing native hair
  • previous hair transplantation
  • future hair-loss risk
  • medical suitability

Online photographs can provide a preliminary assessment, but final graft numbers, recipient planning and medical suitability are confirmed in person.

FAQ

What is Sapphire FUE?

FUE refers to extracting follicular units from the donor area. “Sapphire” refers to the use of Sapphire-blade instruments when creating planned recipient channels. At Fair, Sapphire channel opening is part of a wider Combined Sapphire FUE + DHI approach for suitable scalp-hair patients.

Does Sapphire extract the grafts?

No. Grafts are extracted using the FUE method. Sapphire refers to the recipient-channel stage, not donor extraction.

Is Sapphire FUE better than normal FUE?

The word “Sapphire” alone does not prove that one transplant is better than another. Treatment quality depends on planning, donor management, channel design, graft handling, implantation, patient factors and the team performing the work.

Who opens the Sapphire channels at Fair?

Fair’s senior hair-transplant expert performs the Sapphire channel opening after consultation, recipient planning and hairline design.

Does the senior expert also extract and implant every graft?

No. Extraction and implantation are performed within Fair’s permanent technical team structure. The senior expert remains responsible for the important consultation, planning, hairline-design and Sapphire channel-opening stages described on this page.

Why does Fair also use DHI?

Fair combines Sapphire channel planning/opening with fine DHI implantation as part of one coordinated scalp-hair treatment standard for suitable patients. DHI is not sold as a separate premium upgrade.

Does Sapphire FUE leave no scars?

No FUE procedure should be advertised as completely scarless. FUE creates many small donor extraction sites. How visible they become varies with extraction pattern, healing, skin and hair characteristics, haircut length and individual biology.

Does Sapphire guarantee more density or faster healing?

No. Fair does not guarantee density, graft survival, healing speed or a superior result simply because Sapphire instruments are used. Results depend on the full treatment plan and individual patient factors.

Is Sapphire FUE included in the €2,150 Fair founding rate?

For suitable scalp-hair patients, the Combined Sapphire FUE + DHI treatment standard is included in the Fair founding rate. It is not a separate paid technique upgrade.

TECHNIQUE IS ONLY PART OF THE ANSWER

Sapphire is the tool.
The plan behind it is the standard.

Send Fair clear photos of your hairline, top, crown and donor area. We will review your case before recommending graft numbers, recipient priorities or a treatment plan.

No package selector. No automatic graft calculator. A real case needs a real assessment.
